Well... That was certainly a screaming pile of bugs shambling awkwardly up to Jess. Tis the season for the weird.
“Oogie, is that you? Did Jack unravel your sack again?” Jess sighed, walking over to the mass of bugs. “I told you, I’m not gonna bail you out all the time.”
Hemo had done it! She made her sweet little crabling the perfect Halloween costume. She hurries to show Brier, looking proud as she holds up something made of orange and green fabric....
Brier looked over, now holding together in form notably more well than a few days ago.
“Hey, Hemo! What’s up?”
That’s when what Hemo was holding caught her eye.
“Aww!”

A being alarmingly similar to Oogie himself had just shuffled in. Looked like it hadn't really gotten the hang of walking and was having a bit of a tough time keeping the bugs in the sack in form. "Heeey, Oogie. It's Brier. Could use some pointers... How the heck do you manage all this?"
“Brier, is that really you?” Oogie almost laughed, but he was more confused out of anything. “Oh, the Grey Faces got to ya. Don’t worry. Just sit down and I’ll see what I could do.” He led the other sack to near his roulette wheel carefully. First instinct was to immediately devour all of Brier’s bugs, but decided against it. He did not want to die for good.
Brier was certainly looking a lot better, it seemed she had gotten the hang of this new form. She had also made herself another flower crown like she usually had, though the edges of some of the petals leaves looked like they had been nibbled on. "Hey, Jess! Look!"
Jess immediately hugged Brier happily, smiling up at her. “Hey Sweetie. Looking good today~💜”
Brier was probably still pretty angry at her for the whole demon incident. Even so she needed to apologize so here she came in human form. "Um Brier?"
Brier glanced back, her expression neutral but the faintest spark of anger in her eye sockets.
“Hello. I see you’re back to normal.” she said. “Hopefully that means you’re not back to insult me again. Because let me tell you, if you are…”
She stepped up, frowning, giving Dominic a jab in the chest.
“I’m not going to be any ‘easy target’ this time.”
Hemo had come to check on Brier and their son, she was out for a bit checking on ruby and atarau- she grins as she approaches but.... where’s her mate?
Kanawa was fast asleep, curled up in a little blanket nest. Oddly enough, Brier was nowhere to be seen… But her clothes were on the floor, surrounded in a squirming mass of bugs.
Upon seeing Hemo, Brier was quick to establish she wasn’t an unwanted guest this time… After all, Hemo could crush any part of her with ease like this.
“Hemo! It’s me, Brier… Mind your step, please. All these bugs are me.”
*Cries quietly because I had so many cute things in mind for October*
((Aww… Well, hey, it won’t be ALL of October. Probably going to leave a week and a half or so before Halloween normal so she can have a nice family Halloween.))
Whoever cursed Brier I curse you back 10 fold. LET HER HAVE A CUTE HALLOWEEN WITH HER CHILD AND MATES. That’s all I want is a nice happy Halloween.
((Haha, no worries, I’ll be ending it a bit before Halloween, so she’ll still have some back to normal days and then a nice Halloween/birthday. c: ))
