Oh my world if we're gonna ignore the time weirdness and Deadfoot was Crowfeather's father, IMAGINE HOW GOOD OF A RELATIONSHIP HE COULD'VE HAD WITH JAYFEATHER! What if instead of having Squirrelflight raise the three, Leafpool pulled a Bluestar and had Crowf raise them? Like he's still super edgy but what if having his WANTED kids around softened him out and Jayf took his sarcasm and drama while Lion took his skill and Holly his ambition? SO MUCH POTENTIONAL! WindClan Hollystar too... Mmmm. Also would make it much harder to know that they're the three. Actually good plot things!!

crowfeather and leafpool 💖

I don’t usually post warriors content on this blog but it’s my main and I don’t have a blog for this sort of thing.

This sketch is about an au I’ve been thinking up, an au about crowfeather and leafpool’s relationship. A bunch of things inspired this one but it’s definitely it’s own distinct au. I used tennelle flowers warriors designs as a little experiment. The kitten proportions are a bit off but I like lanky babies so sue me.

So basically crowfeather and leafpool leave and don’t look back, to loosen their ties to the clans they take the names crow and leaf. Cinderpelt lets them leave although she knows about the prophecy around the three and worries about what will happen to it. You see, starclan had barely considered this option and they have no idea how to handle it. So starclan is scrambling because cinderpelt was supposed to be reincarnated and the prophecy isn’t working out at all like they were trying to guide it to.

Meanwhile leaf is very pregnant and is starting to worry about caring for herself without the clans. So leaf is ready to give birth and starclan realizes if they show leafpool how important the clans and medicine cat are to her survival that might bring her back and put the prophecy back on track. So they send a very annoyed cinderpelt to help leaf give birth. But the birth is difficult and crow is trying his hardest but he can’t save her and cinderpelt is too late. But luckily with cinderpelts help all the kits survive, starclan keeps cinderpelt with the family after this aswell. There are the original three which cinderpelt demands she be able to name the way starclan intended. But there are two more who actually are reincarnations of two other cats who I think deserve it after their own hardships. One is a reincarnation of deadfoot who is named breeze by crow, the other is a silver tabby that is unmistakably related to feathertail she is named feather.

That’s where my original idea ends, but I was thinking starclan would guide its little prophecy litter over to the clans anyways. I was thinking jay and lion still have powers so they meet up with dovewing and the six of them go around saving the clans from the sidelines. Breeze is still bitter and a bit mean but the group keeps him on their side because he has good leadership skills and makes good plans, holly is still obsessed with rules and so she goes around and learns everything she can about the clans including the entire warrior code. Feather actually has a strong natural connection to starclan/ tribe of endless hunting. Making all three still useful without magic powers. So that’s my au I think it’s a cool idea and it has a lot of potential when the relationships are presented so differently.

If this gets attention (doubt it will but let’s just see) I’ll elaborate, maybe we can have a little discussion around it.

Headcanon: Nobody ever told Lionblaze, Jayfeather, or Hollyleaf about Leafpool running away with Crowfeather, so on her deathbed Hollyleaf was thinking, "I love you mom, but how the Dark Forest is Crowfeather my father anyway?"
