If anyone is following this blog and interested in my “Leafy reads AYA”, then the next will not come for a bit. Maybe week or two.
I decided to take an 8 week course, in this difficult time, fully online. I am not faring well. So I need to get back on track before I continue reading AYA.
Chapter 2
Regrets are deadly in Wonderland. They are physically and mentally dangerous.
And I guess edgy Mad Hatter just has a revolver in this take of AiW.
Deadly regrets and not looking back are because of the Queen of Hearts. Ku told me his identity already, so I know the Queen is going to be wack.
Hatter and Cat don't see eye to eye. Kind of like my Vector and my dad. Vector wants attention from my father, bt my father dislikes my Vector. This going to be a thing?
Well, Cheshire Cat is like a real cat! Does what he wants, goes where he wants, and ignores the words of most.
I like Alice? though! He is snarky, a bit sassy, and just lets things happen. Only on chaper 2, but I think he is a mood. Seems distracted by random things, like the pretty teacup.
Hatter just gives a confued guy a gun, then says to not ask questions... But Alice threatens to shoot Hatter, but Hatter wants a smoke.
Not the guys are pushing each others buttons. Lovely!
So Hatter took the bullets when Alice wasn't noticing.
Now Hatter points his gun at Alice... everyone is bonkers.
So regrets are the physical-spiritual remains of a deceased resident of Wonderland? Thats neat. But regrets hate Alice, and that is just a Thing that is common knowledge there.
Alice hears about the Queen, and hopes she is his type before meeting. Mood. But Hatter doesn't tell him that the Queen is an asshole bastard man.
Our White Rabbit collects those who gave up on life and gives them a purpose. Another neat twist on the tale.
Now to kill the White Rabbit? And only Alice can do it? Our guy did not sign up for this.
Mysterious lady (i guess) talking to Hatter? Wearing all black and face hidden by a veil.
And now Alice learns that the Queen's game is really the White Rabbit's game. Bunny needs therapy if he wants to be killed. And only the Real Alice can kill him. Queen seems to enforce it as law on our confused dude.
Okay 🤔 Continue tomorrow i hope?

The art style is quite lovely. Also some goofier expressions mixed in.
Cheshire Cat already living up to his namesake of being a little shit!
Mary Ann (??) seems to have the "typical Alice look", but our Alice is the guy.
Looking back is possibly a bad thing?
Mary Ann (??) kissing Alice? Because catboy left? At least she got that it was rude to kiss strangers without warning!
She wants the name back? Enough to try killing our dude? WTF?

Hello! I am Leafy, the second mod. Unlike Ku, I have only basic knowledge on AYA. But I need something to help me get through my final semester of college and the disaster of real life. So I have joined and will be liveblogging my reading adventure of AYA.
I need to do some review of a few assignments and start on them before I begin my liveblogging. But when I do, they will be tagged under “Leafy reads AYA”, and I might do either a chapter at a time or just whatever catches my attention in a scene. Not sure yet...
