Decided to play after @paintedscales tagged me for wip Wednesday. I have a few wips going, one of which the scene below comes from. The thing I’m actively working on is much, much less sfw and doesn’t have much in the way of shareable scenes as a result 😂 also, lots of doodles, including designing future vex kids (not included)
Currently, all my passion projects involve my oc Vesper. This scene takes place long before she becomes a mage.

The only one that seems completely at ease and not constantly scanning the horizon is Farah, who hums a soft tune every so often. Her body presses against Vesper's every time she shifts or when the car slows and accelerates over the terrain. Vesper isn't sure if she finds it more overstimulating or the occasional welcome distraction to how her body has continued to make its discomfort known. By now, her mouth has stopped watering, at least, but she still feels as though she may start retching the moment she lets her guard down.
Travelling sideways has been a far worse experience than facing forward and she prays she never has to do it again.
Slowly, she blinks open her eyes, hoping not to worsen the pounding in her head, present since her abrupt return to consciousness this morning. Vesper clears her throat, swallowing around the thickness in it, and then clears it again before asking, "Why couldn't this meeting happen in Insomnia?"
It's posed to the group at large, but she's looking at Nyx when she asks it, simply from him being in her direct line of sight. He looks at her from the corner of his eye before returning to watching the road behind them, chewing on his words for a long moment before answering. "The person you're meant to meet is someone relatively high up in the military command. They want to defect and bring their family with them. When, or even if, we get the information they're offering, it needs to be verified before we bring them into Lucis, let alone the Crown City." He shifts, crossing one leg over the other as he stretches. Once settled, he continues, saying, "If the information is worth it, the family needs to be extracted from Tenebrae, and that risks the lives of anyone that'll be a part of the assignment."
"Not to mention that this person needs to be worth the constant serveillance that the Crownsguard will have to dedicate to them from now until forever," Crowe adds, sounding unimpressed.
"There's that too," Nyx agrees with a shrug. "That part's not our problem. Originally, this was meant to happen closer to the front lines, since they're actively part of the chain of command, but they wanted to speak to your sister before handing over any other information, and, well…"
"You got me instead," Vesper says, and he throws her a quick smile and a shrug.
"It happens."
"'Creative problem solving', remember?" Farah says beside her, patting her knee.
Scowling, Vesper tilts her head as she debates her next question, not sure if she's allowed to ask. But she figures that she can ask, it's just not guaranteed to be answered. "So… what went wrong? With your other team, I mean.”
Crowe gives a dry snort. "What didn't, you mean. Because the answer is almost everything."

And some doodles ig first is a quick practice sketch and the second was me testing brushes in procreate
"Hey are you in line?" a voice snapped Marco away from his search, and he turned to meet a pair of illuminated gray eyes.
"I–" the words died on Marco's tongue, and try as he might he was unable to answer so he simply shook his head and moved off to the side.
The man blinked, but much to Marco's relief he didn't comment on Marco's bizarre behavior. "Thanks," the freckled man grinned as he stepped up, and thus closer to Marco. "It's a great turn out isn't it?" he said repeating Whitey's earlier question.
"No problem." Marco said, finally finding his voice after he tore his gaze away from the enchanting man before him, "A lot of people came out to see them, yoi." Marco nodded as his eyes lingered over the people around them and returned to the shorter man.
"Who are you here to see, The Spades or Devil Fruits?"
"I was actually invited along last minute." Marco admitted sheepishly, knowing his brother was too involved in whatever discussion he was having with the person behind the alcohol counter to pay him any attention.
"Don't tell me you aren't secretly happy to be here though," the stranger laughed, "You seem like the type of guy who will enjoy The Spades, ever heard of any of their songs?"
Marco didn't have time to ponder on what type of guy he looked like to give such an impression on the other, he was too busy trying to come up with coherent sentences that wouldn't make him look like a complete idiot.
"I have. A few. Set Sail and No Regrets are the ones I like most, yoi," It was strange for Marco, to find himself in such a situation, tongue tied and uncertain of what to say to a man he had met literally a minute ago. Normally Marco was a great conversationalist, he was able to smoothly enter and maintain a conversation with most everyone. Age, status, gender, appearance, nothing had ever deterred Marco from being social, so then what was it?
"Now I'm convinced, where have you been all my life?" The man laughed, "Marry me!" The smile he received in return for his answer was–for lack of a better word–incredible.
"Marco?" Vista's voice snapped Marco out of his heart attack. Marco had to pry his eyes away from that smile to look at his brother who had a troubled expression on his face.
"I–everything's fine, yoi." Marco spoke quickly hoping to ease his brothers worries, "I was just–"
"Shit," Marco was interrupted by the freckled man again, "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that, my mouth tends to outpace my brain, I didn't mean anything by it," his smile was sheepish now as he clasped the back of his neck. "Seriously didn't mean to cause any trouble, enjoy the show guys." and with that he moved on ahead in line, taking Vista's place.
"That...wasn't odd at all." Vista commented looking from the freckled man to Marco, though the older sibling didn't say anything in response, thanking the gods when the microphone screeched and someone climbed onto the stage.
Okai. I know its winter, I realize its update time
But truthfully i have nothing for S&W this season. And yes i do plan on finishing it but my motivation for it is pretty low. So in case anyones wondering.
Law is an average Surgeon with dark tendencies hidden expertly where they belong, his life is going well enough; Ace is an average guy who just got his life back, or so they thought. Two strangers have been brought together by the most binding person possible. What exactly does this entail? Modern AU LawAce, AceLaw, Law x Ace, mild language and graphic content. OOC-ness
This one is NOT going on hiatus :D I love this one too much and I hope to update soon, I have chp.3 mostly written, and can post an excerpt if anyone is interested.
It's Law's Birthday, so naturally Lamie wants the best for Law, but she isn't the only one. A certain flamingo enthusiast wants to give Law a gift too. AU, minimal Doflamingo X Cora, Mostly fluff with some crack.
Oh my god another One shot! This one was for Law’s birthday!~
Ace is mad at Law, and Law can't figure out why the younger raven has been mad at him for this long. Law is as determined to placate Ace as the younger is to stay mad at him. Modern AU, Law x Ace, some crack and mild language.
And we’re back to One shots, this one was pretty fun to write, another crack fic with a rare pair.
