@iota-in-space recently asked for Sheith fic recs and I started to collect them, then it got long, then I thought, why not make it a post, and then even more people will find them, so (:

here is an (incomplete) list of fluffy and light Sheith fics that Ive greatly enjoyed and highly recommend to anyone to read <3

Infraction by @latart - frat boy!Shiro is a food I enjoy immensely, and this fic portrays him perfectly. Add in rugby player!Keith, some college rivalry, great paladin cameos, and you've got a fantastic fic as a result!

touchin' (like we know each other) by @sepiacigarettes - in which galra!Keith and altean!Shiro have a study date which turns into a hot and spicy quickie comically fast, and I love them for it! Love at first sight is great, but horny at fist sight is delicious!

giving is all we have by @tomatocages - this is so so so sweet and fluffy and lovely! It has fake dating, family shenanigans, and Kosmo cameos! Also, smitten Shiro & shy Keith, which is like, a match made in heaven imo, so what else do you need?!

recommended for you by @jacqulinetan - i could sing odes about Jacqulinetan's writing, seriously (i already have, many times, in their comments, lol). I picked this one for the fluff, and I wanna say besides that, it is also a fic that made me laugh harder and longer than I usually do in an entire month, lmao. Established relationship, misunderstanding (no angst, only fluff), a lot of humor and also hot, hot, steamy scenes!

to scatter shells upon the rug by @atomic-pomsky - this fic has a little harder background for both Shiro and Keith than the other fics on this list, but I wanted to include it because the propmt is actually kinda sweet, and the boys are definitely very very gentle and soft with each other <3 rich!Shiro hires prostitute!Keith to watch horror movies with him which Shiro would be scared to watch alone. A connection sparks and I have a feeling they will keep circling back to each other in the future (the fic is still in progress, but it's really captured me and I'm looking forward to see how it unfolds)

Sheith 17K Challenge

Throwing this out there: we are 107 away from having 17K fanworks in the Sheith tag on AO3. I think it can be done by the end of the year, between Sheith Secret Santa and the general outpouring that happens for December 14.

So, writers, if you have ideas to start even a 1st chapter, consider starting & sharing. Have an idea to extend an existing fic? Post it separately and make a series. Or if you have fic threads on Twitter that you want to hold on to, polish and post them.

Artists, you can post to AO3 as well! You only need to have a place to host the image. (I use drafts on my Tumblr account for the commissions I embed in my fics.) If you don't have an account yet, ask around - many of us with accounts have invites that we can share.
