Magnum hears the commotion as he turns around and sees a young girl being chased by the reporter. He blinked in confusion. Mach Windy walked up to him.
“ Oh- it’s that girl from earlier! She gave me my ball back.” he tried waving to her but it seemed to be the wrong moment.
It was, in fact, a wrong moment. There was literally no way to emphasize how much of a bad time it was, much less of a bad day ( if not made obvious by the very persistent reporter on her tail ).
“ miss, please! ” shouted the reporter. “ i just want to hear your thoughts on mach windy—-! ”
" please—-wheeze—-leave me alone! ”
In mere moments, Sam had reached Silver Castle’s training grounds, feet pounding against hard cement and lungs wheezing with each and every breath. For a moment, she hesitates; the sight of leaguers—-of Mach freaking Windy waving at her almost sending enough panic and dread in her to completely run the other way.
But then there’s another shout from behind—-louder. Closer.
And so she continued to run, run and run and run, until she was darting into the very field and ducking behind the safety of one Mach Windy, gasping for the very air she breathes.
