Awesome! What did your boss say when you turned in your notice?
heh haven't turned in my notice yet. And really I'm debating about turning in one at all (I know that's horrible, but ANY notice would be more than he deserves, I'm not worried about burning bridges here).
I'll probably give my noticed on Monday, making next Friday my last day.
But I'm debating about that, because a former coworker gave 2 weeks, and he got angry that she "didn't give him more of a notice" (which really, 2 weeks is kinda standard, and he's just an asshole) so he fired her.
NOW, my dilemma is, I could really use the pay from next week (to have almost a full paycheck for the 1st of the month) so, do I run the risk of him flipping out and firing me after I give notice, thereby losing a week of pay? Or do I just quietly pack my stuff on Friday, and send an email that says "Peace out, Fucker." (in more professional terms, of course) on my way out the door Friday afternoon?

When I had bronchitis over a year ago, they gave me an inhaler and it helped ALOT! I still have it and its not used up yet!
they are seriously miracles of modern medicine. i've had asthma all my life, so i've had an inhaler since i was about 2. but i just spent 2 days battling with an EXTREMELY incompetent Walgreens trying to get my prescription refilled because apparently there was some miscommunication with the doctor. when i say i need to pick it up by 10 am. there's a reason. it's not that i just think "gee, that sounds like a fun time to pick up a prescription!" >_>
needless to say, im done with walgreens. CVS 4 LYFE.

ah really? Awesome! It's a really great hospital, I've really enjoyed volunteering there recently. But it's SO FRICKIN' HUGE. omg. Like, I knew it was gigantic, but I didn't realize HOW MASSIVE it was until I started volunteering there. It's crazy!
