The making of Kapusniak - a polish soup.

Bringing new ingredients and people together!

Mike and Patrycja are making the soup together. Using tattie from the filed, herb from the planters, Mike, who is confident in the kitchen of Number One Cafe, and Patrycja, who is not confident about her english, but who is a great cook! An unusual pairing in a small kitchen, a convivial and friendly space, where exchanges are facilitated and supported. People helping each other, learning from one another.

They both had a great time. It gave Patrycja some breathing space from her home and work environments. She is thinking of doing more cooking in the future with the Cafe. Mike got to cook in great company and learn new cooking tips.

The soup was served at the event taking place in the Museum a few hours later. It was delicious!
