does anyone else. feel like a lot of the terms used to talk about autism are very childish? and infantilizing? like meltdown,, and special interest,, personally feel like those things could be called nervous breakdowns and just yknow. a passion
#EDIT: someone commented and explained and also i researched a bit on my own and yes#the terms to describe these things are different#i just. wasn’t aware that nt people’s passions are not nearly as intense as special interests#and that meltdowns and breakdowns come from different amounts of stress over dif periods of time#learning lol#autism
