SY-Y Plays Overwatch: SY-Y’s-Brother-Occasionally-Plays-Too Edition
“I need Healing!”
My brother, like a lot of my friends, started playing Overwatch when it first came out (Unlike me, who started....like a couple of months ago).
Occasionally, with my permission, he plays on my account for a couple of rounds and proceeds to make me look way cooler than I actually am...
But I honestly only let him play cuz I’m using his computer in the first place and I get to see what he does that I don’t do and the skill difference in my level of players (I’m at level 30-40ish, I can’t remember where it happened at) and his level of players (100+-something?) really is a big difference cuz I notice a lot of stupid shit the low level players do (and I totally admit I do them too) and it’s only obvious when he’s there to show the huge contrast.
In one recent incidence, he was playing Genji and he needed heals. He finds the Mercy and literally stood there, behind her, waiting for her to turn around to heal him.
Mercy was hiding behind a thing just like he was so she wasn’t shooting or healing or boosting anyone. But like...it was almost hilarious how long he stood there before he hit the “i need healing” button and she FINALLY turns around and notices him there.
Nothing on the player that played Mercy, cuz I guaranteed I’ve probably done this myself (or something similar). Probably due to things like...I don’t have the sound very loud and I can’t hear footsteps (so I’ve gotten killed this way too) and I’ve only recently broken the habit of standing still for way longer than I needed to.
BUT! Watching him play has helped me out in Mystery Heroes cuz I more or less apply things I learned when watching him play Genji or Doomfist. I mean I’m not great at them at all, but I consider myself better than before at least.
