Grey Morality

Me being into Dragon Age for 1-2 years now: I love Dragon Age but their choices aren’t hard to make for some parts. I thought it was a series with grey morality, making me think about my choices. Hint, I don’t, because the choices are obvious: Fight the oppressors, side with the oppressed (if applicable to the decision). So basically: the Chantry in Kirkwall had it coming for years, will never side with Templars, Leliana is the only Divine, Mage and Elven Rights 100% of the time.

Me currently playing Tales of Berseria: I forgot what it was like to play a game with competent writing that has actual grey morality and better treatment of their characters and now I want to revisit Zestiria. 

I’m just salty okay. I love Dragon Age but god the writing is all over the place and their treatment of their own characters is just as “all over the place.” Zestiria and Berseria has a better handle on the concept of morality than the entire Dragon Age franchise.

I’m writing a Zestiria-AU for DA2 (sorta), and I more or less know how characters fit into that world. 

And i just started Tales of Berseria so now I’m like...trying to figure out how to make a Berseria-AU already. I don’t even know what’s going on but I just know Karl would obviously be in it considering his fate in the Zestiria-AU and i kinda need to make it up to him XD 

Hell, if it’s doable I may even include Anders (and Kanders) if the timeline allows for it. 

I’ll keep thinking about it as I play through the game. I’m sorry, Karl. I’ll do my best to make up for the tragedy I bestowed upon you in the Zestiria-AU.

But i am totally playing Kingdom Hearts in timeline order leading up to KH3!

How am I doing? Well all my friends beat 3 and I’m on KH1 - also fuck Dragon Magnificent

SY-Y Learning Overwatch

Me: 

has almost no prior knowledge on guns (gun noob)

^The closest thing is playing L4FD2 but never actually learned the names of the guns

^^and watches the Airsoft anime but same thing

Me when playing: “How did Reaper kill me so fast!?”

My brother: “Cuz he has a shotgun and you’re right up to his face” 

[see above conversation happen 10 times at the least]

[My brother’s words repeats like a mantra: “Reaper has a shotgun and you’re right up to his face”]

Me in Mystery Heroes:

-runs up to people and shoot them when I’m Reaper-

“Wow I get it now”

SY-Y Plays Overwatch: Compliments

Last night I got to play a few games and it was a relatively pleasant evening. 

In one I was playing Symmetra and I dropped a teleporter that was apparently a good location. We were stopping a payload and they barely got past the first checkpoint. And someone wrote in the chat complimenting my use of the teleporter at the end of the game ; ~;

In another game, I joined late and lost but most of the players stayed so we just moved onto the next game. Someone on the opposing team wishes everyone luck in the chat. My team still lost. Someone on my team was...basically having a temper tantrum. And I semi-stepped in saying “It’s a game. Losing happens sometimes.” The person wasn’t having it. They stayed playing tho :\ 

We lost again, person was still having a tantrum that we lost. I complimented the Hanzo player on the opposing team cuz holy shit, that Hanzo was an amazing sniper. Though I may have accidentally dissed the person on my own team cuz they were playing Widow the whole time. No intentional dissing though, it was a genuinely good Hanzo opponent. 

In another game, I complimented the opposing Genji. Cuz holy shit, that is an amazing Genji player. I pretty much died three times to this annoying flanking cyborg but you can tell this person knew how to play Genji effectively. 

So it was just...overall kind of a nice night of compliments.
