LEARNING WEEK
I want to learn to use colour palettes, but it's friggin hard. So as a starting point and as an experiment, I made a quick drawing of Lestat de Lioncourt (played by the fantastic Sam Reid), with the use of the colour palette of one of the birbfest birds I made this month.
LEARNING WEEK
Linocut greeting cards for my family and friends for this christmas. Details under the cut.
LEARNING WEEK - OPHELIA
This is a redo of a painting from a few years ago which I made for inktober. (You can see it under the cut)
LEARNING WEEK
Watercolour painting about the tower of the Duomo di Sant'Andrea Apostolo in Amalfi.
LEARNING WEEK
I'm trying to improve my skills so with the help of Toby Haseler's Skillshare class, I played with textures.
PATTERN WEEK - MAMA'S GARDEN
I made a pattern from the watercolour birds I painted last November. Each of them is a visitor of my mom's garden. And actually I ordered a textile with it for my mom for Christmas. You can see it below the cut. ;)
And if you want to check out all the birbs individually:
Redstart, magpie, sparrow, blackbird, woodpecker, pigeon, hoopoe, great tit, fieldfare.
