👆👆👆👆👆And that was the story of my past “love life” lol It’s so easy to “fall in love” with the person’s potential, but their “potential” is not enough to determine if he/she is a great future spouse that God has for you. It’s crucial to pay attention to who and where they are NOW. If you can’t love him/her for who and where they are now, then you will never be able to ACCEPT them. This is where “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” quoted by Maya Angelou.💁🏾♀️👁👀Yes God can truly change that person IF they let Him and be intentional in their own spiritual growth. Unless he/she doesn’t believe in Him (Are they Saved? Or are you trying to change him/her aka Missionary Dating? It’s ok, I’m guilty of that too lol 🤷🏾♀️). But I learned if you see some discrepancies or red flags 🚩🚩🚩at your “first hello” then you need to give them your “first AND last goodbye” lol The longer you continue to stay in that relationship, when you know good and well that you see red flags every day, the HARDER it will be for you to get OUT of that relationship. 🚫Don’t fall in love with their potential. 🚫 Pay Attention. 👁👁 #mypastlovelife #spiritualgrowth #learningeverysingleday #HereiswhatIlearnedsofar #journeyofbeingwhole #strivingtobetter #learningfrommymistakes
