preparing for AGA
So the other day I had a preparation session with AGA. They are quick in replying and very helpful and ever since I am inscribed in their Gaelic class I get the feeling they really are a good school. I have received my student number with some explanation of the next steps and the book I should buy well in advance so I could make sure I had my copy before classes begin. I also received an email which seems to be the technical consultant but also some kind of adivisor. The emails are personalized which stands out against SMO which send now all emails to a group (all students ) which is quite annoying as you get those lenghy Gaelic emails and you just do not get what it is about... I feel they should restrict those emails to the more advanced levels because it freaked me out I was missing some important information.
At AGA all communications are in English so this is reassuring. I received an email which told me which headset to get and technical requirements were needed (SMO has a pamphlet for that). I was then invited to schedule a call with the advisor to make sure my PC and headset are working well to be ready when classes begin. In that call I also received a short overview of how the classes would be held what material I had be using and other useful information. I have to say I am very pleased and very happy I signed up it is really good value (less than 400$) for the whole year and the service is first class! If I ever need assistance I can always contact the advisor who will do his best to assist me.
