it’d  been  an  interesting  few  months  but  there  were  some  positives .    not  to  say  merlin  was  someone  who  sought  out  positives  but  he  also  had  enough  negatives  to  be  able  to  know  things  weren’t  so  bad .    a  trip  to  another  planet  it  then  a  move  out  to  a  new  home ?    this  was  a  spa  treatment  compared  to  how  things  could  be .         ❝    glad  we  haven’t  had  any  of  those  murders  or  animal  attacks .    it’s  not  been  a  bad  past  two  months  if  you  ask  me .   ❞

strange, how quickly everything had changed. and just as suddenly as pelle had grown comfortable here, now everything seemed a threat. the road out of town had led to disaster for dani (although beauty had somehow found a way), and now pelle was searching for answers. “did you try?” he asked the other, cautious. “did you try to leave the town?”

it was somewhat begrudgingly that narcissa had taken some time for herself. she was settled into the seat in a cantina, warm mug of something she couldn’t pronounce in her hands (she possibly shouldn’t have trusted that the waiter wasn’t corrupt, but some mistakes were just inevitable). still, when she saw someone near, she decided to press for a second opinion. “i’ll assume you’ve frequented this establishment,” she said, plainly, “and therefore, you can tell me if this is poison or not.”
