Circles!
Today I combined our homeschool lesson of circles with a Learning Without Worksheets Trace to Erase challenge. I drew circles on the wall with chalk and Boo painted over the lines with water. This activity was a big hit!
For our gross motor skills, I made a circle out of train tracks and we walked around singing Pop Goes The Weasel. All of my pictures are blurry in-motion pics because she LOVED doing this and she was really getting into the song.
For fine motor, we drew somewhat circular shaped objects and practiced tracing.
This was our song today. We watched at about a half dozen times. Boo started out pointing to each body part as they said it (except when Big Bird says beak she pointed to her feet 😂) and then she was drawing a circle in the air around the body part. I love Sesame Street so very much.
We'll continue the lesson with pointing out circles around the house.
