Hello to all that may see this. It’s currently 1:14 am, and for some unknown reason I feel the need to make a text post on here. But, let’s start with the basics shall we? Let me introduce myself. My name is Abby, I’m 25, I recently came out to everyone that I know on Facebook that I’m bisexual, and I’ve had this account since I think either my sophomore or junior (10th and 11th grade for those who aren’t from the U.S.) year in highschool. I’ve made a few, possibly questionable, post on this account, but I was never really someone who would make a post on any form of social media. It’s not that I don’t know how to interact with people on these platforms, I do, it was just for some reason I felt like something was holding me back. Which there is, and I’ve come to realize that it’s me but also not. Let me explain.
Now, for starters, I feel like I should go ahead and say that I have a LOT of trauma. But I’m not really too keen on telling my whole story in one. However, I will say simply that didn’t recive much love from my dads’ family. There view on women and children was the “should be seen and not heard.” thing. I’ll be honest here, I feel embarressed by the fact that I’ve let them have this much power over for as long as they have. So, I guess what I’m trying to say is that I want to change. I don’t want them have that control over me anymore. I want to able to voice what I want to say, without the fear of them trying to shut me up. But mainly, I just want to be happy again.
