“A brave man acknowledges the strength of others.” - Veronica Roth, author of the Divergent Series Be brave and join us for our next one this Wednesday evening (19 Sep) or bring along your friend to get offers: https://wikigai19sep.peatix.com Last Theme Thursday, we’re very grateful to those who turned up for our inaugural StrengthsFind Your Ikigai session ❤ We were initially not too sure if anyone would attend because both ‘CliftonStrengths’ and #ikigai concepts may be new and unfamiliar to many. Once again, the community surprised us with your response. IT’S FULL HOUSE 👌🏽 Learners had a rare chance to interact with our artefacts and experience metaphors as they discover what the 34 Talent Themes are, and the subtle differences between related themes. We also had a chance to explore the Japanese concept of ‘ikigai’, yet another actionable framework to help navigate and reinvent our lives. In the spirit of co-creation and ‘interpretive engagement’, we had a rare chance to listen to a research work by one of our participants: Louis Puah of Praxium 👍🏼 After exploring these two concepts, learners claimed their #StrengthsFinder cards inspired by Gallup and used them to practically solve a scenario challenge. Several loved our newly-minted cards as they are empowering and have a Singaporean flavour to it 🇸🇬 Once again, blessed to have Eugene as our Lead Curator for this unique strengths-based experience 🙏🏽 This is our small ground-up initiative to help grow the Strengths and Ikigai movement in Singapore and beyond. It’s an uphill task as we naturally look at what we lack, weaknesses and failures. Enrol soon or bring your friend for offers: https://wikigai19sep.peatix.com Nevertheless, if you believe in this movement and would like to contribute to it, simply PM us or email [email protected] #ThemeThursday #LearnSG (at Guildhäus at Katong - Where Givers Build) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn0shJ3Bkb1/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=nwl0863fbt0l
