So our house is finally in the realtors listings. It's real and it hit me a bit when my husband showed me the listing. I cried a bit at that moment. Plus we went this weekend to drop off some items for the new tenants, whoever they may be. Just plainly air filters, salt bags for the water softener and the 2nd garage door opener. I thought of making a welcome home basket for the new tenants and my husband liked the idea. So I'll think of the items that can be in this basket until we know for sure who they are and get some background of them. We get to approve who wants to move in and I'll get ideas that way.
My husband finally moved to a different department at his job. He's on loan for that department for 4 weeks I think. He's happier now and is hoping to stay at this department after this loan business is over. Now that he's gone, his other department is hurting and drowning since he's still part of the email chain. He also has had a review meeting with higher ups and they said that he's improving. Of course he is now that he's gone. He took all the calls that others left to ring and ignore, he took the cases of agents that took PTO or called out and was the backup for basically anyone I his team. I'm glad he's gone from that department for now and others are finally seeing that he was an asset. He was their punching bag. He's happier now and I'm happy that he's happier. No stress and not being under a microscope feeling. Just happier.
As for me, I'm still learning things from work daily. I one day had to log out early from my shift cause I just wasn't feeling it that day. It seems it's pretty easy to call out and not needing to wait on paperwork to get approval. Finally! That day mentally I wasn't there and I just didn't want to work and couldn't. It took me some time to just make notes on my cases to close them and just think correctly for each call. So I logged out and took a nap. I just needed a mental day. Other than that I was fine after that day. I got a goody box from my employer due to Customer Service Appreciation Week and won an Amazon gift card in a random drawing at work. I finally asked for my day off towards the end of the month for our Inks Lake trip. I needed to change the dates of the cabin cause we all weren't sure of my husbands work schedule and well mine. That's all fixed and booked. I finally got my bangs cut and maybe sometime soon get the rest of my hair cut too. My husband still wants us to get a house we found not too long ago in another mobile home realtor which is surprising. It has more rooms and it's bigger than our house we're renting out. So we shall see if we can still get that once everything goes into place with other things. Also another thing that made it real for me is that we finally forwarded our mail. Again it made me sad. It had to be done, but it's still sad. My husband found an X-Files clock at a Goodwill yesterday and I just need a double A battery to see if it works. It'll be part of my collection either way, working or not. Other than that not much is new.
