Favorite era is their smelly Hamburg/ Leather era. Of course John is my favorite.
Favorite song is tough. I have too many! The song of the moment is 'I Don't Want to Spoil the Party'. Beatles for Sale is an underrated masterpiece. I love it.
Solo John, my favorite song is 'I Know, I Know' his remorse seems so truthful. I see it as a song for Paul, but it could very easily be meant for Cynthia or Julian. Album, might be Plastic Ono Band live in Toronto. I gotta say the jamming to Chuck Berry and the classic songs on side A make it sentimental for me. The music he fell in love with, just playing with friends for a one time gig.
