Every year, around the time of Wes' birthday and the anniversary of his death, I see this picture make the rounds. While it's absolutely flattering knowing that it lives on as a tribute to a legend, it saddens me to see so many try to pass it off as their own or simply not acknowledge the source- by cropping off the bottom of the pic. Of course we don't mind it being shared, but I would hope people would at least give credit where it's due. It began as a tribute to our beloved, departed @therealwescraven - and it was thought up by and executed by myself ( @the_shape_of_fear_cosplay ) and @brothersofthemask - If you're going to use it, please credit us appropriately. Imagine being blinded as a child while defending Leatherface pt 11

James watched the man who claimed to be a cop walk away from him. Whistling like he was on top of the goddamn world. He'd show him.

Fucking freak. Fucking asshole. He wanted to break his goddamn face... But, he had to find Ivan and Melissa.

He thought he heard a scream earlier as the asshole cop tortured him with some bullshit he learned in Korea. Whatever that place fucking was...

He winced as he twisted his wrists together in an attempt to get away. The cords bit deeply into his wrists, causing blood to form and make his hands slick with it. He bit his lip hard enough to bleed as he dislocated his thumbs to narrow his hands to slip through the cords.

Tears fell freely down his cheeks as he let his hands fall loosely to his sides, his fingers numb and dripping blood. His arms trembled as he pulled them in front of him. He looked at his mangled hands and could hear himself start to sob.

"Whats the matter boy?"

James head snapped up when he heard the voice of the sherriff from in front of him. He quickly put his hands behind his back an hung his head.

A club, once used to knock cows unconscious by Hoyts family so long ago, fell against his fingers, causing him to jump before he wrapped his right hand over it. Cringing when he felt his thumb pop back into place. He gripped it until his knuckles turned white.

But he waited.

"Well, fuck me sideways... You are crying like a little bitch." Hoyt said as he neared James, his hand loosely holding a bucket of pig feed. "Well, bitches dont cry..."

James said nothing but kept his head down.

"Whats the matter boy? You had plenty to say when you first got here..." He crotched down, and looked at James. "Wheres that attitude now you little fuck?"

James's hand was lightning quick as he cracked the club against Hoyts head, causing him to crumble to the ground.

"FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING PRICK. HOWS THAT FOR GODDAMN ATTITUDE!" James shouted, hitting Hoyts prone body again and again. Getting satisfaction with each hit, not caring if he was breaking bones or not. "WHERES MY BROTHER? WHERE'S MELISSA!? WHERES (YOUR NAME)?!"

Hoyt coughed, blood from his teeth sawing his lip open stained his lips and dribbled down his chin before he spat. "Well... Seems you have the advantage."

He turned over to look at James who stood over him with the club held high. He knew the boy hadn't seen his nephew... And wanted to see his face.

"Well come on boy... Let me see what you got!" Hoyt shouted at James, and smiled as the boy brought the club high to hit him.

James's eyes widen when he heard the sound of the chainsaw revving to life. And he turned around trembling to see the sight of the biggest man he has ever seen.

Hoyt just smiled when he heard the little prick scream.
