Thank you for tracking down the German volumes; my German isn't very good but presumably sheet music works the same in any language which was the main attraction.

The table of contents names the songs in Hebrew letters as well and oh my G-d you weren't kidding with the number of Lecha Dodi tunes. It supposedly has one for each Parsha. Which wouldn't actually be as many as you said, but I doubt that's all of it.

Anyway, happy for you! I barely know how to read sheet music if there's a G-clef, much less play (especially since I know no instrument), so it's not of much use to me, though I would love to hear some of the old Ashkenazi tunes we may have lost. I don't think you can send those in anon even if you recorded some, though, so meh. But again, good luck!
