Late, but here I come!
“So ... you called?”
Thea didn’t have a chance to turn before Poppy’s arm looped over her shoulders, the taller woman smiling down at the redhead cheerfully. Blue eyes sparkled with sweet good humor, clearly delighted to have taken Theadosia Mac Tir by surprise.
“What are you looking so happy about?” Thea asked, her lips twitching into an almost smile of her own in answer to Poppy’s infectious good humor.
“Am I not allowed to smile?” Poppy asked innocently. “I get to kiss a gorgeous, genius redhead - isn’t that worth smiling about?”
Thea snorted with laughter. “You should introduce me to her sometime.”
Poppy laughed, her arm sliding down to wrap about Thea’s waist ... and abruptly pulled, spinning the redhead about and into a low dip, held safe in Hawke’s arms. Nose to nose, Poppy let Thea take in the mischief in her grin before slowly and with great care planting a gentle kiss right on the end of her nose.
