Hi! I'm sorry if this is a really noobish question but I've only recently joined the fandom (I think it's only been a month?) and I've been seeing "ts" on tags. What does it stand for? "the show"? I thought it was just something you used as a tag but I noticed other spn blogs use the tag too. thank you!
dude it took me like six months to learn what ts stood for lmao
it just means "tumblr savior," which is a way to blacklist certain tags so you don't have to see things on your dash. so when i tag "destiel" on an original post, that goes into the destiel tag so when people search "destiel," my post will be there. but when i tag "destiel for ts" that's just for people's (really just samknitchester...i can't imagine anybody else would follow this blog and have destiel blacklisted) tumblr savior to catch it so they don't have to see it. it's the difference between tagging something because you want people to see it and tagging something because you don't want certain people to see it.
so yeah, it's just for people's blacklists and you can put it after any word that you think people might have blacklisted (i do it mostly for ships). it's good if you want to tag something but don't actually want to put it in your real tag for that thing. like, for instance, if you go to my destiel tag, you'll see canon posts about destiel, but if you go to my destiel for ts tag, you'll see ficlets and headcanons and shit that i don't want in my /actual/ destiel tag.
