At 19, living in South Dakota, found an ancient scroll that summoned Amon from the depths of history, successfully attaching the demon to the priest.
Fired from the church, since an exorcism didn't work, and moved far from his family and former town.
Managed to cut ties with his father while still maintaining a healthy relationship with his sisters.
Now lives in West Virginia working at a church that accepts anybody, including those who don't exactly have a human roommate.
Denies that he has an infatuation with Amon. He's learned to be a good liar.

Remembers creating the pharaohs eons ago, and yet doesn't remember when he was lost to history and not taken seriously.
Over centuries, became restless for human affection and attention, and the first thing he felt when finally summoned by Gabriel was a human touch gracing his cracked wings.
Latched onto Gabriel like a touch-starved kitten, and has refused to leave his side even in times where Gabriel wanted nothing to do with him.
Helped Gabriel realize his sexuality, even through heaps of denial and trial and error.
Now lives in West Virginia with Gabriel, living beside him as his roommate and making sure he never has too terrible a nightmare. He can't bear the thought of leaving him alone, or for such an imperfect human to be hurt, emotionally and physically.
Never denied his infatuation with Gabriel. At least, once they'd had a night.
