leshawna duncan's friendship could've been such a good thing for both of their characters if they were just given more alone time to develope together.
in her original character bio, we're told leshawna helps troubled youth stay off the streets and get back on their feet in her hometown; and duncan's parole officer said that he thinks duncan is actually a good kid who just went down the wrong path. like - that is literally the perfect dynamic.
plus leshawna's also says that despite being a kind person, she doesn't let anyone walk over her or take her help forgranted; which we've seen many examples of. that combined with us seeing multiple examples of duncan being a caring person and good friend (even tucking harold into bed), goes to show that they are literally meant to be friends.
