Holding a sleeping bag and wearing a backpack, Marco walked up to the red and orange portal that was opened in Star’s room.
Star was laying on her bed with Pony Head, while Jackie was sitting next to Janna on the floor. They had each made plans with their friends to have a sleepover, more or so girl and guy time.
“Bye, Marco! Tell Tom I said hi!” Star said waving goodbye to Marco.
“Bye Star! And will do. Have fun ladies!”
“Bye!” They others said waving as he left.
He stepped though the portal and watched as it disappeared behind him before looking up to see Tom’s carriage right in front of him.
Walking up to the steps, he couldn’t help but think of what they were gonna do. They didn’t really plan anything, then again they never really do plan anything beforehand. They just end up figuring out what they’re going to do when they get there.
Marco knocked on the door and quickly heard footsteps. The door swung open and there was Tom with open arms.
“Marco!”
“Tom!”
Tom let him in as Marco shut the door behind him. Once he set his stuff down, he ran to Tom in a huge hug. They hadn’t seen each other for a few weeks so it’s been a while since they’ve been able to hang out.
They laughed for a few seconds before letting go and trying to figure what exactly they were gonna do.
“Dude, it’s been like forever! How are you?” Tom asked Marco as he sat on the couch.
“I’m doing pretty good actually. It’s been crazy these past few months so it’s nice to just relax, ya know?” Marco followed and sat crisscross on the floor in front of him.
“I feel ya. I’m glad we have some time to hang out.”
There was a small silence until Tom had an idea on how to pass the time. Something they liked to do was work on self defense skills.
Since Marco did karate and Tom was well, a demon with supernatural abilities, they liked to show each other their skills.
And using a special method he’d used many times before might just make it even more fun.
“Hey-” Tom asked making Marco look at him.
“Would you wanna work on some self defense? I’ve been practing and I think I could take you down pretty easily. I mean, it’s not like you’re hard to take down anyway.” Tom smirked.
Marco stood up and faced Tom, there noses almost touching.
“Ohoho, you’re so on.”
Marco got into his fighting position and Tom slowly stood up and copied Marco’s stance.
“You ready?” Tom asked.
“Born ready.”
Marco was the first to make a move.
He charged at Tom and stuck his leg out in order to try and get a kick in. However, Tom saw this coming and grabbed his ankle before he could touch him.
Pulling his leg back, Tom caused Marco to fall on his back. As Marco tried to get up, Tom slyly let his hand travel to Marco’s knee and gave it a light squeeze.
Marco squealed and covered his mouth, not excepting the sudden electric sensation.
Tom immediantly moved his hand away and put it back to his side acting like nothing ever happened.
“What’s the matter, Marco?”
“Uhh... n-nothing. Nothing of course, everything’s fine. Now let’s do this.”
Tom let go of his ankle and Marco let out a grunt when it hit the floor. Marco stood up and got into his stance once again.
This time Tom made the first move. Instead of going for a kick or a punch, he tackled Marco to the ground by bringing his body around his waist and wrapping his arms around Marco.
Marco was taken back at this sudden move but let it happen, laying there on his back with his limbs spread out while Tom hugged away.
Tom nuzzled his face into the fabric of Marco’s jacket that was covering his sides, a smile spread across his face and would get bigger each time he squeezed the tiniest bit harder for comfort.
“Tohom- what are you doing?” Marco chuckled at this cute little show of affection his friend was giving him.
“Hugging you.” Tom punctuated his sentence with another nuzzle to Marco’s side.
“Wehehel stohop it tihickles.” Marco brought his hands up and lightly pushed at Tom’s shoulders.
“Oh it does~” Tom started to form his hands into claws along Marco’s sides.
“Tom- Tom no. Don’t you dare.” Marco warned struggling harder in Tom’s grip.
“What’s wrong Marco? You wouldn’t happen to be... ticklish would you?” Tom started to slowly wiggle his fingers into Marco’s sides.
Marco started to kick his legs and twist around, but Tom kept his grip tight and now dug his fingers into Marco’s hips; a sweet spot he discovered can make Marco go crazy.
“NOHOHAHAHAHAHAHA! TOHOHOHOM!”
“Yes Marco?”
“DOHOHOHOHOHOHON’T!”
“Don’t what Marco?” Tom teased now moving up and down Marco’s ribs.
“TOHOHOHOM!” Marco yelped lightly hitting Tom’s back.
“That’s my name. Hey, I wonder if humans have the same number of ribs as demons do? What do you think?” Tom asked stilling his fingers for a moment awaiting an answer.
“I dohon’t know.”
“Then I guess we’ll have to find out.”
“No!”
And before Tom could start, Marco reached around and tweaked both of Tom’s sides.
Tom shrieked and let go of Marco. Scooting back a bit and wrapping his arms around his torso, a slight blush formed on his cheeks.
Marco sat up and took a second to catch his breath before enacting his revenge.
“Don’t forget that I’m not the only one who’s ticklish.” Marco snickered and wiggled his fingers at Tom.
“M-Marco- c’mon we can talk about this?”
“No, I don’t think we can.” With that, Marco lept at Tom.
Tom got up and tried to run away, but Marco was able to get a hold of Tom’s shins, causing him to collapse to the floor.
He let out a groan and to turned onto his back which led Marco to sit himself on Tom’s shins facing him.
“Ha! Got you now, Tom!”
Marco then moved his hands up to Tom’s knees and started squeezing the nerve right above his kneecap.
Tom straight up squealed and hugged his middle.
“MAHAHAHAHARCOHOHO! AHAHAHAHA!”
Marco didn’t respond and kept on squeezing. Tom started to kick when Marco moved his hands under his knees and scittered his fingers there.
After a few minutes, Marco let Tom have a break.
“Jeez, forgot how ticklish you are.”
Tom panted and sat up with Marco still on his shins.
“Whahat? Dude, I’m not ticklish.” Tom scoffed.
“Then what was all that laughing for?”
“Uh- You know… acting. I didn’t want you to feel stupid when you got your revenge.”
“Tom, I know you’re lying.”
Tom blushed and laughed nervously.
“Marco, please? A demon like me can’t have any weeknesses. Let alone be ticklish.”
“Then what do you call this-”
Marco shifted quickly so he could move up and sit on Tom’s waist line. Once there, he shot his hands into Tom’s neck.
“*snort* GAHAHAHAHA! STOHOHOHOP!”
“Not ticklish huh! And you even snorted?! I’ve never heard you do that before.” Marco smiled.
Tom did this all the time. Saying he wasn’t tickish even after being tickled half to death. It was probably just a strategy Tom used to get tickled more. If the demon wasn’t lying, he didn’t really mind it.
“Tom- don’t make me go to your worst spot.” Marco warned bringing his hands up.
Tom death glared Marco.
“You. Wouldn’t. Dare.”
“Oh- I dare.”
Marco grabbed both of Tom’s hands in one and brought them above his head. He then tickled, scratched, squeezed, and kneaded everywhere on Tom’s belly.
“NAHAHAHAHA MAHARCAHAHA! STAHAHAHAP!”
Tom squirmed and tried to roll over but he’d gotten weak while Marco’s hold was staying strong.
“I’ll stop if you admit you’re ticklish.”
“NEHEHEHEVER!”
“Your funeral.”
Marco rolled up Tom’s shirt slowly, giving Tom enough time to realize what was going to happen.
“N-No! Marco please! I’m ticklish! I’m super ticklish okay?! Just don’t!”
“Well I’m glad to see you came to your senses, but I’m still gonna do it.”
Marco lowered his head and blew a giant raspberry on Tom’s stomach. Because he was moving around so much, he let go of Tom’s arms so he could hold his sides down.
After another raspberry, Tom went to shoving at Marco’s shoulders. His laughter went silent and that’s when Marco stopped.
He stood up and watched as Tom curled into a ball of giggles. His eyes tearing up and blushing like mad.
“You okay, Tom?”
“Yehea. Just happy you’re back.”
“Same here buddy.”
“Could you help me up?” Tom asked.
“Sure thing.”
Marco helped Tom up and they spent the rest of the night watching movies and listening to Love Sentence. It felt good to just hang out.
