i know most of us hate the writer of true beauty because they wasted so much chemistry and the plot is mostly like wtf? so here are some points, i think that they can do better. inspired by my shooter babies, of course. but please bear with my writing, i am not really good at it. don’t mind the grammar and spelling mistakes or the lengthy post?
i think they could stretch the episode from 16 to 20. this allows to give them more time and for jukyung to truly accept suho after his return. i feel like it got too rushed at the end and was forcing the i-have-to-return-to-my-lover-no-matter-what and totally disregarding the self-love message in true beauty.
not just that, but with an addition of 4 episodes, they can have more exposure to the second lead (yes junjin.) and making a better closure.
i do have some ideas that my shooters babies have brought in the groupchat.
number one. fake dating to make suho and jukyung jealous of them. however, before they knew it, they fall in love and we go KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE.
number two. instead of soojin exposing jukyung, we can have a duo of bullies (both girls and boys) who were from her ex-school and wasn’t happy with her current, happier life and wants to expose that she’s ugly without makeup so she can have a sad life. in another words, they’re jealous.
number two point five. everyone that she adores (suho, seojun, sua, taehoon and sujin) didn’t really care and confronted the bullies in her previous school. they started fighting with them because they believe that no matter what, jukyung is pretty enough. then jukyung has more courage on facing her bare face. with her friends’ endless love and support, she decided to face her real self and proudly show out to school without her makeup.
just an idea i had in mind.
with someone else as the villain, someone posted soojin getting abused in school which soojin hated those pity looks she have attracted. all of her friends (suho, jukyung, sua, taehoon) including seojun were shocked because they didn’t know about it expect for suho. since soojin always acted her nothing happened. after seojun knew that suho knew it, he got angry and asked why he didn’t said anything.
then seojun asked his gang to protect soojin which she refuses. however, being the stubborn guy seojun is, he doesn’t take no as an answer. then sua and jukyung was crying with soojin because they didn’t know about it and they always thought that she was busy instead.
after knowing that incident, soojin’s father kept calling her and asking her to come back but her friends just took her phone and shouted at the father, asking him to ‘fuck off’. soojin was shocked because she has never seen her friends being so fierce before.
so they had to think of a way to give soojin out of the household. then, suho went to talk to their homeroom teacher, mr han to ask him to make a police report which he did. with evidence of the video and soojin being the witness.
they had to decide where soojin should leave and ultimately decided on seojun place because he can take care of her compared to the others. seojun informed his mum about it and his family (which only consist his mother and sister) welcome her with open arms which she teared up because she never had a happy family before.
seojun realized that soojin is hard on the outside and soft in the inside. she can be like an ice but he has to break it to find her warmth. before they knew it, they have caught feelings for each other.
soojin and her friends often have a lot of hangouts together to build their relationship and to heal the broken hearts of anyone in their small clique. they go to amusement parks, karaokes, picnic in the park, watching movies, shopping and more. they usually pair up, making suho and jukyung a pair, suna and taehoon a pair and lastly, soojin and seojun a pair.
at the end of the day, everyone has a partner and they live happily ever after.
