Directed by Liz Neerland, Perilous Night is a show about the dynamics of race, power and relationships in the monarchy. Focusing on Queen Elizabeth III, she has "returned from the future, and grants an impromptu audience with young Harriet, a subject with an urgent suit in need of redress. Undeterred by the fact that they both find themselves patients in a mental hospital, Elizabeth and Harriet embark on a revealing and unsettling dialogue about race, time travel, and the relationship between the mighty and the powerless. When it becomes apparent that Samuel and Carver, two attendants with a secret agenda, are up to no good, the royal will must be brought to bear to “uphold the right”."
The show features Kevin Carnahan, Ross Destiche, Dana Lee Thompson, and Shirley Venard.
The show closes this weekend on Sunday, October 6.
