TLDR: liliana bleeker was a main character in a the addam's family type sitcom that ran for two seasons in the 60s. she is turned in the mid-60s and joins the new york coven in the mid-70s. in 2017, liliana rebrands herself as 'lilith leech' and starts hosting a horror themed late night show.
THE BEGINNING... liliana bleeker was born in nowhere, california in 1943. her parents were well-off, good christians with interests in the arts. her schooling and early life were not of note, despite the fact she gravitated towards theatre. at age twenty, she moved to los angeles in hopes of becoming a film star. she was a background in a couple of low-budget, box-office flops and starred in a few pilots that never went to air. in 1963, liliana meets her big break. she's cast as a lead in a sitcom about a family of vampires, playing the blonde-haired, unassuming love interest. even then, the costuming is ‘old-timey’ and based on 30s gothic aesthetics. he show runs for two seasons.
THE TURNING... liliana bleeker meets a mysterious european businessman in the fall of 1963. there was an instant attraction. the two went on several dates, which often ended in his hotel room. unbeknownst to her, he was a rather grumpy vampire with a penchant for proving his point. he felt that her depictions of vampires were unforgivably cheesy and that he would give her a taste of true vampirism. he routinely feeds on her, to which she does not object. the pair date for around a year. liliana is thrilled and amazed by the fact she has met a real vampire, happily being fed on. ratings begin to drop at the middle of their second season, declining and declining, finally, the show is cancelled. liliana, depressed and terrified, begs to be turned. she was given the gift on december 31st of 1964. she awakens on january 1st of 1965, undead and alone.
LIFE IN SHADOWS... liliana abruptly deserts her position and travels the country, relentlessly searching for her maker, leaving bloody messes in her wake. she takes lovers across the country, only to kill them before the morning. money is stolen and wasted. rounds are made across the country. no trace of her maker exists, no matter where in america she looks. years pass in a flurry of lies, and trains, and corpses. her mental state is erratic, her behavior unpredictable to even herself.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK... throughout the 1970s, liliana travels to major cities across america in search of other vampires. she finds just that in new york. the vampires are harsh, leering, demeaning to the completely uninitiated vampire. they have a fortune, but at what cost? liliana is with them for forty odd years not out of love, but out of a fear of being left alone again. she learns everything she knows about being a vampire from this coven: the depravity, sexual freedom, sneakiness, haughtiness. her hair is dyed black, style becoming darker and darker. after a particularly bad break up with a member of the coven, liliana leaves new york.
FAME FOUND... in 2017, liliana hears word of a producer looking for a host for a late night television program that revolves around horror. liliana bleeker changes her name to 'LILITH LEECH.' she does not make it out of the doors of her first audition before being offered the part. the show is not on a particularly successful, nor popular, channel, but the lights are kept on by a devout fanbase (and occasional financial contributions from ms. leech). still, lilith leech becomes a cult figure, renowned for her campy humor, sexual nature, and gothic fashion.
