"You're not just property, you're my property"
"What a waste," Jesse spat the words at the animal human hybrid before him. One hand rested around her throat like a choke collar, not there with the intent to squeeze, but tightening whenever she tried to break free.
"Some people spend their entire lives desperate to give their existence any sort of meaning. You're different-" he paused to run his free hand over one of her pointed ears. Callused fingers ran over soft fur, lingering over the long healed hole where her creator had once tagged it.
"-you were born with a purpose, and yet you reject it. How selfish, taking something so precious and trampling it into the ground. What do you have so say for yourself?"
She quivered, struggling uselessly against his grip as he tightened it. Even if she could somehow find the magic phrase that would deescalate the situation, he'd completely closed her airway off. Jesse narrowed his eyes, though excitement leaked through his scowl.
"Disgraceful. I think it's time I taught my ungrateful little bitch a lesson."
