Disco Freaks Update April 2020

Welcome to our website, with a new layout, photos and most excitingly - up to date contact details for your favourite Margate/Blackburn double act.

With the weekends now free and the dance floors on ice for a little while, this site will be used to share the chats we’ve had with some of the legendary and future legendary singers, guitarists, drummers, DJ’s, entrepreneurs and absolute characters of our Disco Freak world. Plus any other juicy bits that tickles our fancy.

Over the last 5 years we have, sometimes nervously, exploited the medium of sound to present these interviews. But now, to save you scrolling through years of Mixcloud uploads, I (Matt) will be popping them on this website with some of the most thought provoking and hard hitting topics as a cute way of grouping them all together. (Please do keep scrolling through the Mixcloud page).

The conversations will be with some of the heroes we have had on our shows on Shoreditch Radio and more recently, Hoxton Radio, The Face Radio and Totally Wired Radio.

This will include words of wisdom from the likes of: Charles Bradley; Leee John; Ministry of Sound founder Justin Berkmann; Chic’s Ralph Rolle; Fatback Band; DJ Andy Smith; DJ Katie Goodman; Noble and Heath, and a load more familiar and inspirational people.
