Error doesn't like grocery shopping, and he'd much rather stay at home, knitting or watching UnderNovela. Axe is the one who's great with getting groceries, preparing meals, stuff like that, so he takes over a lot of the grocery shopping just by default. He has to take a list with him because sometimes he forgets things, and 9 times out of 10, he'll end up getting stuff that they didn't even need at the moment, since he likes putting it away for later use. If Error's convinced to go with him, he probably wants to spend most of the time there hanging out in the candy aisle, that way he can check out all the chocolate types/brands they have. He might go to the crafting section to look at knitting supplies, too
Neither of them really do the heart tracing thing? Once in a while, maybe, but not all the time. Error's still pretty touch averse, and Axe is understanding of this, so he doesn't push his luck with touching. On the rare occasion when it does happen, I feel like it'd be Error who traces hearts on Axe, probably over his head and very carefully around his head injury. He's careful not to touch it, since he knows how sensitive Axe is about that particular spot
As much as I love the idea of big bara Axe picking up a tiny tsundere Error, I have to reevaluate this one a little. Error is like,, roughly somewhere around 6 feet tall (last time I tried doing an estimate of his redesign, at least), and because of the famine underground, Axe is probably a tiny, fragile looking boy. Which means that Error might be the one picking up Axe. He'd still be a tsundere about it, of course, but I really think Axe would enjoy being held and carried like that
