Hello hello!

I have very much been quiet these last few months, and kinda left this place to rot. Haha /silly (I swear I'm funny)

But! I am happy to announce these characters I've made have not died!

I've simply rebooted my story and detached it from descendants, since I'm an author at heart <3

THAT BEING SAID!

I am here to ask those who still follow me, should I reboot this blog too, and make a new one for my original project? Or keep it as a tribute to my time in the fandom, and as a way to still interact with the fandom, it really was my first real presence on tumblr!

Welcome to another sad realisation by Rot If the Isle ever went to war with Auradon, like they do in my au, they wouldn't know what guns were. Muskets sure, maybe a few older villains have shotguns from the fiftys, maybe pirates have a few hand-held pistols or something. But modern guns? How would they know about that?

As someone who grew up eating clams, mussels, and oysters, they are so good. They're a staple on the Isle, and oysters actually help filter water. Pirate's bay, where most of them are found, doesn't have boat traffick like Goblin Wharf does, the pirate ships are ststionary and man/wind powered.

Their water is much cleaner and shellfish are actually the first things kids learn how to "hunt." A lot of sirens/merfolk eat them raw too.

Fathom's first ever interaction with guards from Auradon was when he was around six, and they searched him and stole his belongings (thanks @theamityelf for this idea/addition to my post). He tried to follow them and steal them back, but they caught him and roughed him up.

The water around the Isle has a large amount of oysters and mussels that make pearls, and sirens and other folk use them as deciration, trading, etc. Until Auradon found out. Now, the pearl industry on the Isle is regulated by guards, and they have to ship 2/3rds of the mussels and otsters back to Auradon.

Essentially it cuts their food stock in half.
