Over the last week, millions of farmers across India started a movement striking and protesting. Some estimates even suggest numbers as large as hundreds of millions. Right now tens of thousands of them are outside Delhi, the national capital. They’ve come here from all across India, travelling hundreds of kilometres, facing State violence but they have persisted. This is historic. So let’s talk about why this is happening.
