Back in my days at the university, I learned a few strategies (algorithms) to solve problems like finding a way out through a maze. On my artwork Barry's White I applied two strategies called 'left hand search' and 'right hand search'. I used colored blocks to make the algorithm visible on the photo's.
The entrance of the maze is at the bottom (mid), the exit is at the left top. Each time a decision for a direction has to be made, the left/right side is chosen. If the path ends, the next turn left/right is taken. This results in finding a rather efficient way out as shown on the photo's. Is this ART-ificial intelligence?
