Summary: You turned your humanity off, just like Hope and Lizzie try’s to help.

You had no desire to still be on the earth anymore. You turned it off after you tried to hurt yourself but it just healed. You couldn’t die. The closest thing a vampire could do was turn it off so you couldn’t feel anything. That’s what you did.

Your girlfriend lizzie couldn’t possibly stand to see you like this. Most times she didn’t come home. You obviously didn’t care but if you had humanity it would hurt you. She also never came home because your were always feeding anyways. Sometimes she came home, today was one of those days.

You were eating some random boy you found on the street. You didn’t feed on women. You gasped and looked up to Lizzie walking through the door.

She sighed in sadness you could almost feel it. Almost.

“Hey sweetie.” She came over to me.

“Oh hey Liz, didn’t think you’d be coming home.” You said, voice getting quieter more you say it. You drop the head of the boy your were feeding on, wiping the blood off the corner of your mouth.

“Yeah well thought I’d pay you a visit.” She smiled

“Well I’m fine, thanks for the concern though.” You pretended to care.

Lizzie grabbed your hand. “ y/n listen to me. I love you so much and I can’t watch you continue to do this to yourself. Okay, I’m trying to help you. If you turn it back it on I can help you. I can I swear just - just please turn it back on.”

“I’m not going back to that pathetic little petty y/n.”

She was honestly kinda hurt no humanity you thought that way if yourself. Because when you had no humanity you couldn’t really lie, cause you didn’t care.

“Care to join me?” You pulled another dead boy out of the closet biting his neck. He wore a green shirt and black jeans with a sea shell necklace. He also had a few rings on.

It hit Lizzie In that moment she saw the ring. She sprinted into your guys shared room, pulling our drawer, after drawers of jewelry. Until she found it, the silver ring with a green diamond on top.

She went back into the room where you were. You already dropped the body and wiped the blood off in confusion of her rushing so quickly to get something. You were honestly surprised she was staying so long.

She held the ring up. Your face went into shock knowing exactly what it was.

“3 years ago, 3 years ago you and your mother were in a car wreck going of the rail into the ocean. She died so did you. But since you had blood in your system you were okay. The doctors said they couldn’t find your mothers body. But they did find the car, they didn’t find any drugs or alcohol to prove your mother was on anything. But they found this, this ring you and your mothers matching rings. Yours was blue, it was lost, hers was green and here it is.” She held up the ring.

You dropped the body and walked over to her.

“Where did you- how did you- what?” Tears slowly filled your eyes.

“I never told you that story, I never told you anything about that.” You said

“Well, I have people I know, someone named Hope.” She laughed through her tears.

“I’m sorry.” You said

She pulled you in a hug “I know, I know.”
