Chapter 1: Welcome to University! 📚
The city of Britechester is home to the two biggest rival universities in the Sim world: Britechester and Foxbury.
Green Dragons vs. Red Lobsters.
The triplets have just arrived to check out the area, although they'll be staying in a neutral student dorm.
Alune: Whoa, this place is huge! There are, like, two whole campuses!
Aibek: And Foxbury's Lobsters team is here too…
Aku: Eh, big deal. It's not that exciting.
Aibek: Alu, let's go check out the Foxbury campus.
Alune: Sure. Aku, you coming?
Aku: No, I'm gonna stay here and look around Britechester.
And just like that, Aibek and Alune headed off to explore the campus of their new university.
Of course, Aibek wasted no time joining the Foxbury football team.
Meanwhile, back on Britechester's campus…
Aku heard a melody that immediately caught his attention. There was something about it—something raw and emotional—that made him stop in his tracks. It was coming from a guitar, and before he knew it, he was walking toward the sound.
Near the statue, a girl playing, her fingers moving effortlessly across the strings as the melody drifted through the campus air. Aku couldn't help but linger and listen.
Greta: You know staring’s creepy, right?
Aku: I know.
Greta: Good. Just checking.
Greta: Thanks. You always stand around looking miserable, or is today special?
Aku: Today’s actually not that bad.
Greta: Terrifying. I'm Greta, by the way.
Aku: Easier to write on gravestones.
Greta: Okay, Aku, you’re either trying to flirt with me or summon a demon.
Aku: Haven’t decided yet.
Greta let out an unexpected laugh and shook her head. Aku only managed the faintest hint of a smile, but it was enough for her to notice.
For a few moments, neither of them said anything. The silence wasn't awkward; the distant sounds of campus life filled the gaps between words.
For the first time since arriving at university, Aku felt like he didn't need to be anywhere else. And before he realized it, he had taken a seat beside the statue to listen to one more song 🎵
