The little selkie wanders into the shop, stomach growling, and dress somehow still dripping water everywhere, kelp stuck in pale blonde hair. No one seemed to be around... she wandered over to a row of masks- one looked like a fish, but the colours were so bright and shiny looking. She picked it up and tried to chew it, making a noise of disgust. It didn't taste nearly as good as it looked! How rude!

Tortus knew someone had entered his shop. He decided to quickly finish up what he was doing. It didn’t take long, but apparently long enough for a child to grab one of the masks and try to eat it.
“Hey!! What are you doing?!” Tortus shouted. Perhaps not the best of reactions to have toward a child. However, most children that age knew better than to just start chewing on random things. He felt justified at the moment.
