hi um. this is my best selfie I think? honestly its embarrassing to say but I could use some love… I’m a soft butch from NZ, possibly on the spectrum or just Odd and worry that I’ll never find someone who actually enjoys my company or likes me that much. I’ve dated twice only, one fizzled out and one gave red flags, but I worry that it’s going to be embarrassing if I don’t know anything of what I’m doing when I meet someone next. I’m getting a little old to be clueless and shy, but I’m still awkward around touch or sensory things, and don’t always know what is usual if anything. Idk, just rambling, its a fear I think many share, so I thought putting it out there might help someone else. I need to get a haircut soon, currently my hair is much shaggier than this!

I hesitate to use the word "soon" as this fic is definitely still in its developmental stages, but it is on the WIP pile!

I'm very excited about it 😎 Mostly because they have a great dynamic, but also because I'm trying to make it canon compliant and I'm blown away by how plausible this is turning out 😂

Bruising and Bruises - Not Accepting

Nabooru groaned inwardly. Just what she needed, the child was here. She pushed herself up from the cot, most of her bruises more embarrassing than they were painful. The black eye was especially bad, starting to puff up behind the soft linen pad she had strapped across her face.

"You've probably seen her already, unless she hasn't woken up yet."

She knew Pokki had been planning on challenging her title, but she didn't think it would come so soon, let alone in Hyrule. These things were supposed to have structure, ceremony, not simply be declared whenever a challenger felt like it!

"Isn't it past your bedtime, little princess?"

“Well, I guess we’re both lost then.”

“Seems that way,” Ganondorf confirmed, making sure the hood of his traveling cloak was pulled up before he took a seat beneath the large tree he’d been using as something of a waypoint - he could see where he marked the bark with his dagger four times now. Needed to add to that tally when he got back up to try again.

He was pretty sure he’d been in this forest - something he’d only read about in books and it was wild to see so many trees in one place - at least a few hours. He wasn’t expecting to run into anyone else here but as much as he was curious about the girl who’d practically materialized through the trees and fog he wouldn't ask any questions. Might prompt her to ask questions of her own and he was still a lousy liar.

Yaotl had heard of a 'Princess Zelda' a few times in passing conversation from some customers, and  as well by his partner, being told not to scare her if she's in his presence. Not like he could help looking menacing with his build and height.

He didn't know what she looked like, but judging from the attire of this young blonde girl in his line of sight, this might be her. Yaotl didn't know much about princesses or kings, but he figured it must be tough to be royalty, especially at such a young age.

Yaotl just kept his focus on the hot metal he was hammering down on. No use in getting distracted when there was work to be done.

The little selkie wanders into the shop, stomach growling, and dress somehow still dripping water everywhere, kelp stuck in pale blonde hair. No one seemed to be around... she wandered over to a row of masks- one looked like a fish, but the colours were so bright and shiny looking. She picked it up and tried to chew it, making a noise of disgust. It didn't taste nearly as good as it looked! How rude!

Tortus knew someone had entered his shop. He decided to quickly finish up what he was doing. It didn’t take long, but apparently long enough for a child to grab one of the masks and try to eat it. 

“Hey!! What are you doing?!” Tortus shouted. Perhaps not the best of reactions to have toward a child. However, most children that age knew better than to just start chewing on random things. He felt justified at the moment.
