(bursts into flames) io and garrett are some of the folks sonderās gonna become friends with!! i donāt reallyā¦ have more references for either of them besides the one that was posted yesterday omgā¦. but! garrett is one of the kids in the house where ariel will be staying! theyāre a very simple person, because theyāre very genuine and to the point, and to be honest i consider them to be like a breath of fresh air? just, so genuinely nice and uncomplicated about things. they might also come across as the most Normal in their household, considering their best friends are a tailor, a model and a ghost! the Thing with garrett is that they donāt know what they wanna do with their life. theyāre not Haunted by the feeling of ānot excelling at anythingā, but it Does sorta worry them, and they do what they can to fix it. they try lots of different activities and hobbies both in their home and abroad, so their staying in the apt isnāt uninterrupted, unlike their friendsā. theyāre just, so good. i think their easy-going-ness is what is going to make ariel hit it off with them! and io! io is one of the two people ignos is gonna crash with! theyāre an old artist whoās a bit hard to describe -they can come off as harsh/rude when you first meet them, butā¦ oh, wow, i hadnāt noticed. theyāre very similar to garrett in the aspect that, what you See is what it Is. there Is some absence and even discontent from time to time in their face, but there is also calm and wisdom, and they have the very meaningful trait of being Open with you the second they meet you. theyāre the exact same way with everyone! lately, they havenāt done much artsing as theyāve dedicated themselves to Crafting things, like their own canes and hats, silverware, accessoriesā¦ but they took in an apprentice (amara) who was interested in what they had to teach in regards of drawing. um, a little history lesson is needed here -ioās a few hundred years old, and theyāre descendants of a race that lived in a secluded part of the world. other races in other regions developed art Only through color -in most cases, this means no form, and no contour. ioās predecessors were Absolutely colorblind! they saw only in black, white and grays. because of this, their art evolved Exclusively through line. they sure cared about form. amara wanted to learn how to do it and io took them in! now, how io and garrett are relatedā¦ is a spoiler! it might be a slice of life but thereās still a story behind it! š but i can say that they live in the same building and have just, never spoken a word to each other. the big nerds
