Memoirs of a Sociopath: Episode 1
"Good day readers, colleagues, and possibly simple plebeians. Most of you, I am sure, know me as the Head Medical Doctor of the Legion of the Hand of Vengeance, Ivan Felsorrow.
I write at the behest of my ever-and-always lovely wife, Seleste. She appears to be concerned with my mental health. You see dear reader, I have a bit of an anger problem, and it occasionally will get in the way of my work. That is what concerns her. I will not get into detail about it, as while the event in which I do lose my temper is extremely rare, the situation is not very pretty.
I digress. Seleste has asked me to begin collecting my thoughts in separate journal entries to mediate my anger among other psychotic tenancies which can otherwise arise when the situation does not call for it. Therefore, without any further ado, I welcome you to read on. I can guarantee the contents of this journal to be quite a delight on the eyes..."

"Welcome to my thoughts. Feel free to look around, it's definitely an experience that can't exactly be imitated by anyone else. - Oh, what's that? No, no, please ignore the secret desire to surgically remove your face that I have hidden in the corner over there. In fact, don't look around my thoughts at all. Just focus on the words on this piece of paper, alright? Alright. Good."
"For the first entry in this collection, I will be discussing the different races of the Alliance and Horde that are quite frequently seen flying the colors of each faction. Eight of them, today. So get ready."
Orcs:
The Orcs are an interesting bunch of green skinned, bloodthirsty beasts who allegedly have some sort of 'honor' code in which they follow. Despite the fact that most of them are currently our enemies, I hold no exact personal grudge against them. They are incredibly unruly and brutish, however they can be commended for their cruelty and violence. Additionally, some of the most powerful Demonologists to ever exist were of orcish descent. Appropriate for a race of people who thrive on war.
Humans:
What can I say? I know this race like the back of my hand. In fact, my hand used to belong to a human, and technically still does. A dead one, of course. If you're simply that slow and haven't caught on yet, I am talking about myself. Me, yes. I was a human. Don't like that? Get over it. Regardless... Humans are fickle, and they are vain. Look at their paladins, for example. They cannot decide whether or not they want peace or to destroy the Forsaken "menace". They fight amongst themselves over this very topic, and often single members will switch sides over the course of the debate. I would be hypocritical if I got into their vanity, as that is a trait I carried into my undeath.
Trolls:
To be quite honest, they utterly disgust me. They're filthy, lanky and, more often than not, covered in mangled body hair. Their hairstyles are repulsive, their clothing is primitive and ape-like, and they worship some set of animal gods that don't even exist. I cannot stand their accents, their lifestyles, or even the huts they live in. And WHY do none of them wear shoes?! Oh, and don't even get me started on the fact that everyone is concerned about the newest "Troll Menace" on the headlines of the newspapers every few months. When will we have killed every single tribe? There are at least a dozen I can count off-hand, and it gets obnoxious trying to keep track of what we've already taken care of. You know what? I'm going to stop now, because if I continued, I'd go on all day about how much I hate these filthy jungle monkies.
They are burly mountain men who live in subterranean, volcanic environments, in the hills near Grim Batol, and in/around snowy mountain regions. I am aware that they are experts in gunfare and the like, however I do commend the dark-skinned Dwarves native to the Blackrock region in their limited command of the dark arts.
Forsaken:
Most of these people are socially inept and cannot be trusted in the slightest to -actually- want to be your friend. It's not hypocritical however, if you admit you have the same problems, correct? We're... a colorful number, I suppose you can say. Unfortunately, there are -some- of which still try to cling to their senses of "right and wrong", and "moralities". Ugh, they make me sick. You know who you people are. Yes, you people. You make me sick, do you realize that? Sparing lives and souls because it's apparently "the right thing to do" when you're all damned in the long run. When you get to hell, I'll be sure to send you my regards through a demon minion. Then command it to laugh at you.
Gnomes:
I really have nothing to say here, but for completion's sake I'll think of something. The Gnomes, I suppose can be commended for their technological prowess, but then again I suppose you could commend a Goblin for the same thing. Now... if only these tiny people could be convinced to create higher-tech Plague Catapults for us...
This is another one of those races I'd prefer to stay allied with strictly out of convenience. They have ridiculous ideals and a belief system which rivals the trolls in stupidity. They worship some sort of "Earth Goddess" which is similar to the kal'dorei belief of the same accord. More on them next. The tauren do have some strange motives, however, or have had them in the past. There is a place in Thunder Bluff known as "The Pools of Vision" in which Forsaken and tauren Apothecaries gather to make attempts at finding a "cure for undeath". How strange that they even care.
I have spoken to maybe only one kal'dorei in person, as they are rather reclusive. They hide themselves in the trees, the forests, and the brush as an example of their ability to keep from being seen. From what I've heard however, they are supposedly a warrior race akin to the orcs. They are violent and ruthless against their enemies, and are rather hypocritical it seems when it comes to the reasons why they dislike the orcs in the first place.
"At any rate. That is it for this evening. That was quite a list to make, and it is time that I retire. I do hope you return next week, as I will be giving my opinion on the remaining races of the Alliance and Horde, along with a personal outlook on current events. As for the weeks following, please, stick around... I've such -fascinating- things to show you..."
