Me for the past 3 weeks overanalyzing every teaser, the commercials, the sets themselves to figure out the exact plotline and episode structure, but also lego's promotional history on their main shows and miniseries to figure out when exactly it will even come out:

This is my followers' rare reminder that I also write stuff
I am not a "good" writer by any means, I just have ideas of scenes I cannot put into art sometimes
So here's my contribution to the scene of Kai's death (Jin pov)!!!

No...
No no no no no NO!
There's no WAY he just did that!!
Dad...
You didn't have to do it.
Jin: DAD!!!
There it was.
Giant mech, once carrying fire ready to obliterate enemies, now the one torn to ashes on the crumbled streets of battle.
He's gonna be fine right?
Right...?
Jin: DAD!!
The lack of response to the new elemental master of fire's screams only made them cry out even more.
Jin: Please please, you gotta be okay- *hic*!
Scrambling through rocks and opening the control cabinet.
Jin: ....
The previous fire master was bleeding.
A lot.
Jin: No no no, c'mon you gotta stay with me!
They took their parent out onto their lap, hoping to find the source of the bleeding.
Mira (shouting): Jin???
Their throat was so full of mucus they couldn't even speak.
Jin: H-he'e!
They sure tried.
The sound of their cousin's voice faded as they returned to the dying parent in their arms.
Jin: Come on come on... Where the hell is that gap-!
Kai: H-hey....
Jin (tearing up more): !!!
Kai: K-kid, you r-really don'-
Jin: It's okay dad! I'll find the source of the blood and I'll take you to.. uhh.. the monastery or-or a hospital, you just gotta stay with me-
Kai: Jin *hard cough* l-listen...
Jin: ...
Kai: It'ss t-too late... I'm gonna d-die.
Jin: No no no don't say that! We can still save you!
Mira: Jin?- !!!
Nate: Did you find them?
Mira: *Points*
Nate: Oh no...
Jin: There's still a chance please if you could just stay with me and tell me where your injury is then I can-
They could feel the weak hand rubbing its thumb against the younger ninja's cheek.
Kai: H-hey, it's ok-kay...
Jin: Dad?...
Kai: I've lived a-a good life... Made f-friends.. fought ba-ad guys... h-had you...
Jin: ...
Kai: A-anything to keep y-you safe...
Jin: Dad, please...
Kai: Heh... it's okay m-my little flame...
Jin: ....
Kai: G-go save the world....
And the previous fire master drew his last breath.
Jin: Dad?
They checked in a matter of a second.
No pulse.
They could only cry even harder as they hugged their dead parent's corpse.
Mira (putting hand on their shoulder): Hey...
Jin: ...?
Mira: It's okay.
Jin: H-how can this be in ANY WAY okay??
Nate: It was bound to happen to him too.
Jin: N-no!... If only I would've been faster maybe I could've-
Mira: Hey. It's not your fault.
Jin: !...
Mira: My... mom died in the crash too.
Jin: !!!..
Mira: Yeah...
They then went to cry into the arms of their beloved cousin.
Mira: They did what was right... There was no other option...
She breaks them from the hug.
Mira: Now it's time to make them proud.
She was right.
They opened the door for them.
So now it was time for them to enter it.

A big explosion in the sky appeared as the two mechs self destructed.
He was gone.
He was.... gone.
Why?
Why why WHY!!??
They could've found a better solution together!! If it weren't for those damn oni and that damn SNAKE!!
They're gonna pay...
They're gonna regret messing with the wrong family.
Jin: HEY GIANT LIZARD!!
The Great Devourer turned to the sound of the fire weilder.
Jin: You and those stupid elves are gonna PAY for what you've done to MY DAD!!
And so, they went for the strike.
Right on top of the Great Devourer, sword in hand, trying to find its weak spot.
Jin: TAKE THIS!!!
And they jumped to make a final strike, only for them to be snatched away by their cousin before they jumped right into the beast's opened mouth.
Jin: Hey!! What the hell are you doing!??
Mira(sarcastic): Uhhh, I don't know... maybe saving your ass from getting EATEN ALIVE???
Jin: You should've let me at them! I was gonna end it once and for all!!
Mira: Okay, first of all, no you were not. Second, the beast literally had its mouth open ready to eat you!!
Jin could only let out a huff of frustration.
Mira: *Sigh* Look. I know losing him hurts, my mom died too in that explosion.
Jin had a big moment of realization.
Jin: Oh Mira I'm... I'm so sor-
Mira: Save it.
Jin could notice Mira's tears hiding under her breath as well.
Mira: We will have time to grieve them once this is all over. We don't have to let it block our judgement and critical thinking.
Jin: ...
Mira: We have to stay strong. We're ninja. And we have to continue our parents legacy.
Pause.
Mira: .... So that their sacrifice shall never be in vain.
Jin: ... You're right.... Yeah, yeah okay.
Mira: You ready?
Jin: Yeah... Let's make them proud.
A/N: Some scenes were also based on the Lego set segments of the trailer
Since we know nothing about Jin and Mira's personalities and how they're gonna handle it, this is also kind of my takes on it.
I thought it would be a great idea to have Jin be the kinda weak one and Mira the strong one. You know, to not feed into the "Men are strong emotionally while women are crybabies" and shit like that. It's not exclusive to gender.
I know I technically say that I don't think Jin is a male but since the figure still showed them as male, I will have Jin be the masc role in this situation
