These guys are the Dragon’s Rising Ninja

And our soon to be debuted Duskfall Ninja

But…

What are our og’s called?? Am I completely blanking??

Like are they just the ‘Masters of Spinjitsu’ or does their team have a title?? Like…we know Lighting, Ice, Earth, and Fire are the destined guardians of the green ninja. But the wHOLE team y’know?? + Nya and Lloyd included

We have Elemental Alliance, Dragons Rising Ninja, Duskfall Ninja, and…the ‘Og Ninja’ ???

I personally refer to them as the og ninja, but in THEIR universe imagine future ninja talking abt teams of the past…the fandom’s original ninja are not the in-universe original ninja y’know?? What would future ninja call them??

back when the duskfall trailer dropped my sister had that mentioned that one big skull on the ground that showed up at one point made her think of the samurai x cave..... seeing this set including it now i kinda doubt itll be correlated, but man that would be cool..

Taking a small break from Coltland to rewind back to Ninjago for a second to say that I am just now finding out there's a future-short-series called Duskfall that was announced at some point and a trailer recently released??? WHO was going to tell me?? I knew about the future characters and Mira and Jin from the sets and all that, but is the confirmed name a new thing? When did this happen? Where was I?? (I was in the coltland tag and by extension the rygos rabbit hole but shhhh)

Saw the trailer and it looked pretty cool. All I have to say is that if Jin isn't Kai AND Skylor's kid I'm going to riot. They can't tease a popular relationship for 15 SEASONS then revamp the series and never talk about it again. It's just not right. I won't stand for it. Very rude of them.

...What happens to the dragons who get lost?

Sion is a magnet for magical phenomenon and mishaps now. Peony had to hold her own against the Shade, and Sei is a little lost shadow she brought home. Alanii came back as a different element. Duskfall still isn't sure how to rejoin society after spending so long in the time before dragons were made. Katydid almost drowned in an endless ocean before he was rescued. Fenrir doesn't have the words to tell its family what she went through while he was missing. Cedar wouldn't even be here, now that it's forever in service to the Wishbright Grove. But at least Strawberry got to meet a lot of cute critters.

anything could happen, really. these are just the stories that made it back.
