I watched muppets christmas carol today too!! i love them so much bro... kermits little suit... the little rabbit... mouse family... incredible

right??? the choice to make gonzo and rizzo the narrators… rizzo being from new jersey… scrooge acting his heart out in every scene despite being like the only human… it’s such a good movie

also can’t stop thinking abt the way the narrators and time interact in this movie. like gonzo at one point corrects scrooge’s teacher in the past & the guy reacts and changes his wording (scrooge doesn’t notice this which also has implications imo), but other than when he’s directly interfering people don’t notice/pretend not to notice him. which implies that all the muppets are just actors. but then they totally commit to the bit in every other scene/the story wouldn’t make sense if they were only actors? so is gonzo supernatural somehow? bizarre. sorry for the soapbox lol it’s just fascinating to me
