Don't you just love it when you contradict yourself in a story?

-facepalm-

In "The Jewel of the Heart", Legolas holds Thranduil's ring as his own now while ruling in Ithilien, the golden serpent ring that is, and the story is Post-LOTR... In "I Know It's Wrath..." that same ring focuses Thranduil's own magic to make the illusion upon his face a reality, and the story is Pre-Hobbit.

So in essence... I have basically written that Thranduil is now (post-LOTR) ruling Eryn Lasgalen WITHOUT his illusion on his face.

I need to make the Elvenking a new ring... cause he's to vain to do that...
