Chile Border Control. Parque Nacional Patagonia. Cochrane, Aysén, Chile.
It's a shame that Circe's first time visiting Chile was for work purposes; the sights were something she would like to see at a more casual pace. But, she would take what she could get, admiring the snow-capped mountain range that became the backdrop to the small cluster of government buildings. She, along with her partner, was due to meet a couple of senior officers a few doors down from the main building, as a precaution from being overheard. ❝ Should be this one here. ❞ Going off the information given by the guard posted at the gate.
She compiles the paperwork back into it's respected folder, having gone over the information they currently have as a refresher. As far as they knew now, there had been an uptick in hikers and campers going missing while visiting the national park, some of them being US citizens. Not only that, but the wildlife has also taken a mysterious hit. There has been an increase of animals deaths, some being mutated in a way that wasn't natural and large areas of flora just becoming dead and barren the next day. All concerning cases that couldn't go much longer without any intervention.

It was as if one of the officers was watching, waiting for them to emerge from the car. The door to the building opens as if on cue, she gives a look to Dion, almost annoyed by how quick they came out to greet them.

It wasn't her first rodeo when it came to injuries like this, though it's still just as uncomfortable as the first time. The muscle spasms along with the pain that would shoot through her right arm at the slightest movement were causing her to grow impatient. Dion was taking too long for her liking.
