thank you so much to everyone who tried out for our network! some difficult cuts were made just because we had so many applicants, but in an effort to allow as many into the net as possible, there is now an ilvermorny team! eventually, the quidditchteamnet hopes to expand enough that we create four complete teams for each house of ilvermorny! however, as the network gets up and running there will be just one.

a note to all ilvermorny players: hello guys! I know you probably applied expecting to become a part of your hogwarts house team, and therefore I understand if you don’t want to be a part of the ilvermorny team. if that’s the case please let me (megan, @quidditchplayer ) know asap. I created this extra team to allow more amazing bloggers into this network. as the network (hopefully) grows, I plan to create a team for each of the four ilvermorny houses! when this happens you will be added to your appropriate ilvermorny house team, and if you want, you will have an excellent chance at becoming captain of your house team. thank you for understanding and welcome to the network!

a note to those who applied and were not chosen or who missed the application deadline: thank you so much for your interest in the quidditchteamnet. if you were not chosen, please don’t take it personally. unfortunately, a large number of amazing blogs didn’t make the network this time around. the issue with creating quidditch teams is that there are a limited number of spots available. I did my best to rearrange and accommodate as many people as possible, including creating the ilvermorny team and moving myself from the house I most often identify as (ravenclaw) and placing myself in gryffindor in order to create room for an additional player. I truly wish that I could allow everyone into the network, but for now that’s not feasible. it’s very likely that applications will reopen, and therefore I implore you to continue to check out the network, continue following us, and apply or reapply when the opportunity presents itself. additionally, we will be having at least a few (if not many) events open to anyone who is interested in participating. feel free to use the tag quidditchteamnet on any edits that are even slightly related to quidditch so that we can notice them! again, thank you so very much for your support and understanding.
