  sand trap   18 July 2021. Santa Cruz County Rail Trail Segment 18. Watsonville, CA.   Bike paths are only car-free utopias in between the intersections with roads with cars on them.  At the intersection with a road, a cyclist needs to pay attention to other users of the road that they are about to cross.   A traffic engineer of a freeway would never put a sand trap between lanes for a road for cars, would they? And yet here we are. If it’s just cyclists, who cares!  FUCK CYCLISTS!
