even before their new position omar had always deeply respected jamie as a member of the high family in day who wanted more and decided to just...go after it. he was exhausted, as he was sure everyone else was but he felt it was his duty to try and keep his head above water as best he could, even in a whole new court he wasn't completely sure he could trust, he knew those that he could and for now that was enough, making his way over to the new commander of day to check in.
